Mongoose Publishing starts pre-painted mini's lines. Starting next year, Mongoose Publishing is planning on releasing both a modern armies miniature line and a re-launch of their Starship Troopers line ... both pre-painted and non-randomized! Man, between this and Slaughter Gulch I am going to be broke as a joke.
I know Mongoose has had a hell of a time with their printing schedules and rules sets, but I did like how they handled the Starship Troopers sculpts, so I have a feeling these will look good at the very least, and be ready for Savaging at the very worst.

Mongoose has had troubles in the past, but they have really stepped it up and become one of the better publishers out there. I can tell you from first hand experience that the new RuneQuest products are nicely done.

The Ducks are a Gloranthan race, so you can't play one yet. So sure, if you want to play as the butt of a cosmic joke I certainly won't stop you. ;)

Thats pretty much how we played em in the RQ game I was in 7 years ago.
In actuality they are a people that were cursed by the gods for not fighting for them during holy wars of the past.
So the whole race, pretty much, got ... ducked over?
I'm not proud, but I went for it. :)
I think that was the original authors intent, actually. :)
Needless to say, the Ducks are a bitter people. ;)
