Man... I think I have to finally give up on them.

His voice is gone, and without the growl... there is nothing left. Load and Reload had a couple of good moments (there were 4 or 5 good songs spread over those 2 albums), St. Anger was horrible - and if this is any indication it will be more of the same Bob Rock influenced shit. I held out a glimmer of hope because Rick Rubin is producing the next album. But, I think the king is dead...

I hear a little early AFI in there too. At least the rhythm changes make sense. I dunno, its not terrible and light years ahead of St. Anger. I'll reserve judgment on this one till I hear the whole thing.
I'm over the fact that they aren't making the music I loved growing up. To their credit, its impossible to top Master of Puppets. Go on, throw it in right now. Aww yeah, its still that good. ;)

There is nothing quite the same as listening to Harvester of Sorrow so loud as to knock shit over in your tennants apartment!
