Aw, fuck, I almost forgot ...

A collection of links, news, and plain ol' goofy stuff from the maniacs at Organized Chaos, Inc., the home of adventure since 1990.

I posted the text of this a couple years back, but there's video for it on YouTube now. I'm not as down about this country's future as I was back then, but there's still a long way to go.
RIP, Uncle Bill
On a more positive note, Hulu.com has the famous Thanksgiving episode of WKRP in Cincinnati.

... cause this is how not to throw a can like a girl.
And they're fucking French on top of it!
You are too gay.

Here's an interesting article from the Guardian from Simon Pegg on why the undead should never be allowed to run. Although it seems like a bit of fanboy wankery, he makes some salient points.
Check it out.
For the few of us that are old enough to remember this, it's an update of the famous Budweiser "Wassup" commercial from circa 2000. Man, it's been a while...

OK, so James Gunn's PG Porn really isn't safe for work, but it isn't safe for work in the way that you might think it would be. Freakin' funny as hell; check it out.

This is awesomely tasteless. Especially the visual nod to a certain Spielberg film.

I'm sure everyone knows this by now, but I'll make formalities of it and announce that I am indeed (finally) moving. The house is a duplex on Marrano Pkwy. in Cheektowaga, basically near the intersection of French and Transit. The official date we take possession is October 1st, so we should be in and set up by the 15th once everything's done...we hope. It is indeed an awesome house.
Needless to say, an obligatory game night will occur. I will keep y'all posted.
And just because I don't want to leave you guys empty handed, here's Al Pacino doing what he does best.

Since I never actually finished the original Super Mario Bros., I was quite surprised to see the ending.
Or at least, this is how it should have ended.

I would totally play this.

Voiceover king Don LaFontaine dies at the age of 68. Man, movie trailers are gonna suck now...
If you've never seen this little bit of madness, I envy you....
Julius Carry star of The Last Dragon and Brisco County Jr. dies. No word on the cause of death, but it certainly was a surprise.

If you're not following Warren Ellis on Twitter, you really need to do so right fucking now! He's a mad insane, but always entertaining, genius. Check out a recent exchange (Brian, you're gonna love this):
You know, if you care or something.

If cookbook fans talked about cooking the way that RPG fans talk about gaming, it would sound mysteriously like Alt Text: Killjoy Cooking With the Dungeons & Dragons Crowd.
And if you think this is outlandish, you obviously haven't spent enough time at RPG.net.

The Buffalo News: Home: Former Mayor James D. Griffin dies at 78 in Orchard Park nursing home
Might not mean much to anyone who didn't grow up in Buffalo, but Jimmy Griffin was an indelible part of mine and many others' childhood. Who can forget his immortal advice to a city ravaged by winter storms in 1985:
Stay inside, grab a six-pack and watch a good football game. There was ever only one mayor of Buffalo. RIP, Jimmy

Just found out that Bob Asprin, author of the Myth Adventures series, recently passed away:
On May 22, 2008, Bob passed away quietly in his home in New Orleans, LA. He had been in good spirits and working on several new projects, and was set to be the Guest of Honor at a major science fiction convention that very weekend. He is survived by his mother, his sister, his daughter and his son, and his cat, Princess, not to mention countless friends and fans and numerous legendary fictional characters.Man, he was one of my favorites; I think I've read just about everything he's ever written. Not only was he known for the Myth series, he also edited the early Thieves' World shared world anthologies, and was a gamer and SCAdian to boot ("Yang the Nauseating").
He will be greatly missed.
It's motherfucking Pumaman.
And there's video evidence as well (about the 2:00 mark).

Don't know who's responsible for this, but someone has posted a page of Songs by Tom Lehrer. Who, you might ask? Probably one of the funniest, smartest, and cleverest songwriters of the 20th century. He's like a straighter and geekier Cole Porter. Check out my favorites, "The Masochism Tango" and "Poisoning Pigeons In The Park".

Here's a clip from a super-low budget Russian horror flick featuring a giant, mutated turtle attacking a city. Friend to all children, he ain't ....
"Oh, no, the turtle is attacking! Walk away at a brisk pace!"

Eight Virginia Cub Scouts get a gaming all-nighter as a reward for earning Webelos certification. Boys claim that it still doesn't take the sting out of being "We-blows".
Seriously, if this had been an option, I would have stayed in the damn Boy Scouts.
Just what we need, gamer merit badges. Oh, wait, we have those, they're called Achievements ... ;)

But if I hit someone in the head with an axe, I am pretty sure they wont let me do it again.
So I make a fake axe. I'ma cut the blade off where it is supposed to be buried in the head. I am going to "age" the real axe, then paint the fake to match.

TV Tropes is a web site dedicated to cataloging the various tropes and clichés present in most modern media. I lost about an hour to it today. Be warned, it's a real time sink.
